How NoviosShort handles information when you create, share, or open short links.
Last updatedThis page explains the information NoviosShort may collect while you use the public shortener, a user workspace, or the administrator panel. We keep that data only to operate the product: create links, measure clicks, protect sessions, and answer messages you send us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not show raw IP addresses in the dashboard.
When a short URL is opened we may store the time of the request, detected device type, browser family, operating system family, referrer, a truncated user agent, an optional country, and an HMAC-hashed IP address.
Those fields power click totals, unique counts, and device charts in your workspace. Hashed identifiers are used so analytics can stay useful without exposing a visitor’s raw IP in the admin interface.
User and administrator accounts store a name, email or phone login, and a one-way password hash. Plan, usage, and profile details stay attached to the account so the workspace can enforce limits and show your links.
Optional “remember me” cookies store a random token, not your password. You are responsible for keeping signed-in access limited to people you trust.
Messages you send through the contact page include your name, email, and the text you write. They are delivered to the site administrator by email when the host supports it.
Use that channel for product questions, billing help, or privacy requests related to NoviosShort. Support tickets inside a signed-in workspace are stored so you and staff can reread the conversation, including any photos you attach.
We use a session cookie required to keep you signed in and to protect forms with CSRF tokens. An optional longer-lived cookie is set only if you choose “Remember me”.
These cookies are functional, not advertising pixels. Clearing them will sign you out of the workspace until you log in again.
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Sessions are tied to CSRF protection. Visitor IPs in click logs are HMAC-hashed rather than shown in full.
The service runs on the hosting environment that operates NoviosShort. Availability and backups depend on that environment, so keep your own credentials private and use a strong password.
This policy may be updated as NoviosShort evolves. When it changes, the “Last updated” date on this page will be revised.
Continued use after an update means you have had a chance to review the current version. The Terms of Service describe acceptable use of short links and the workspace.
